We’ve Joined Just One Tree!

At Officeinsight, we are firm believers in giving back to the environment and in the power of individual actions adding up to a big difference. We want to remain sustainable throughout every office fit out we do, so we have partnered with JUST ONE Tree.

We wanted to support this fantastic network as we believe that if Officeinsight participate in the scheme, by providing a tree for every office chair bought, we would help create a big difference to the environment in which we live.

So why have we joined?

Just One Tree primarily focuses on restoring the planet by supporting reforestation projects, and they keep their costs super lean. 87% off all donations go directly towards projects they support, including the cost of any transaction fees. Just One Tree plants in Madagascar, Kenya, Haiti, Mozambique, Indonesia, Nepal, Zambia, and The Oceans to help remover CO2 from the atmosphere.

Why trees?

Trees are the primary method for removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Without planting more trees, we will not survive as a species. In addition, if cleaning the air we breathe was not impressive enough, trees also filter out water, stabilise the soil, form complex ecosystems, supply us with medicine and create sustainable incomes.

How does Just One Tree Work?

Just One Tree funds reforestation organisations around the globe, focusing on areas severely affected by mass deforestation. Just One Tree partners work with communities that are committed to restoring their forests. Through training, education, and employment, they are lifted out of poverty whilst simultaneously improving the environment.

Why Officeinsight?

We have joined this scheme as Just One Tree is a non-profit initiative removing CO2 from the atmosphere and reversing biodiversity loss through global reforestation. We want to give back to our planet, and therefore we are going to plant a tree for every office chair within a fit-out. For example, recent office fit out for Hermes Head Office, fitted 200 seats, thereby we would plant 200 trees.

We are excited to be a part of this journey and for a happier and healthier planet!
