Officeinsight welcomes posts from guest authors. Please refer to the guidelines in this post if you would like your submission to be successful.

Who are we?

Officeinsight is a family run, office design, fit out and refurbishment company based in Manchester offering a full turnkey package for businesses looking to fit out, refurbish or refresh their offices. From initial planning and design through to furniture installation Officeinsight take charge of the whole process on behalf of our clients. 

Who do we Write for?

As we are a Manchester based b2b company our target audience is largely decision makers within businesses throughout the North West region and beyond. Because of this we aim for a professional tone to any blogs we post.

What is our Aim?

The primary goal of this blog is to share some of the knowledge that goes into the creation of high quality workplaces whilst exploring aspects of office life that can be influenced by what we do as a company.  

Who Can Write for us?

We will consider all contributions to the blog and don't require writers to have any specific qualifications or experience providing the post is original and well written. Please be aware that at this time we don't pay for contributions to our blog. We may decide against posting content from direct competitors.


We will look at initial proposals in the form of both pitches and drafts. Please include examples of your previous work where possible.

What Content do we Accept?

  • Original posts/content only
  • No sales focused pieces or native ads
  • Cover a relevant topic
  • Aren't too similar to a previous post
  • Are well written


  • Office design
  • Office fit out
  • Office property
  • Workplace technology
  • Commercial interior design
  • Office furniture
  • Employee well-being
  • Workplace tips and tricks
  • Office environmental issues
  • Any topic that can be seamlessly linked to the above

Posts outside of the above will not be considered.

Post Guidelines


We ask for a minimum of 500 words. There is no limit on the maximum amount of words allowed, however we do ask that submissions aren't padded out unnecessarily. 

Image Requirements

You do not have to provide images along with your submission. This can be handled on our side. If you do wish to include images please cite the source for each image. The main image should be 870 x 290px.

Citing Sources

If you are unsure about citing sources in a blog format take a look at this post from Corey Wainwright at Hubspot which demonstrates how to cite sources in a variety of formats.


Links in submissions are accepted as long as they directly contribute to the writing and are not perceived to be excessive and 'spam-like' in nature. If links are found to be unsupportive of the writing and/or used excessively they will be removed from the post and the author informed of the decision to do so. Anchor text is allowed providing it is relevant to the page it is linking to and not generic.

Author will receive a personal and/or company link in the byline providing the links are relevant and appropriate.

Submission Guidelines

Accepted Formats

We ask that any work is sent over as a Word Doc or Google Doc. If this isn't possible we will take PDFs as an alternative.

How to Submit

Proposals can be submitted by emailing [email protected] please ensure your subject is "Guest Blog - This is Insightful". You can also contact us using the form on our homepage or the one on our contact us page. Include "Guest Blog - This is Insightful" at the start of your message.

Byline Information

In your submission please include your name and company name if applicable, along with a personal link (LinkedIn, Twitter) and a company website link if applicable.


Please be aware Officeinsight reserve the right to edit any content you submit to be posted on our blog. This includes but is not limited to, headlines, images, links and body copy. Once submitted any writings intended for the blog become the property of Officeinsight for us to edit as necessary.  

What Comes Next?

We will aim to review and respond to your proposal within 24 hours. We will respond via email to let you know your proposal has been successful. We endeavour to respond to unsuccessful proposals and provide feedback where we can, however if after 48 hours a reply hasn't been received it is safe to assume your proposal has not been successful this time. Please be aware we will not provide feedback on every unsuccessful proposal.

Publishing Frequency

We aim to publish blogs once per week, however this can become fortnightly during busy periods.
