Returning client, Dechra briefed Officeinsight to refurbish a further 5,000 sq. ft of new office space which it acquired to meet its rapid expansion plans. The global veterinary pharmaceuticals company, overall aim of the project was to create a workspace that allows collaboration, working sessions, internal meetings and training in a corporative but not “office looking” environment.

The two-storey building had to have dual usage - additional workspace and a more collaborative, research hub - on the ground floor. Due to collaborative and multifunctional nature of the hub, specific attention was made to install acoustic treatments and feature lighting. The client also wanted to reuse as much of the existing layout and fit-out elements as possible so large graphic manifestations of client branding were incorporated throughout to cover the out of date, but still functional fittings, saving costs and many items from going to landfill.
