Evri Capitol House Transformation

Officeinsight have recently designed and refurbished Hermes’ existing Head Office to align with the company’s vision. We have created an inspiring place to work and an exciting place for their people to be. Using technology, we have created an immersive experience for colleagues and visitors to allow stakeholders to dip their toes into the Hermes brand. As a team, we have carried the brief, including wellbeing, connectivity and supporting the customer journey throughout the fit-out.

It was essential to use the 3D process to help Define, Design and Deliver client needs and wants. It was clear that the reception area needed to impact visitors when they touched down in the space significantly. Reception areas allow visitors to learn more about their background and culture while waiting for someone to meet them. A welcoming atmosphere provided in the company’s reception area helps impact positive impressions on employees, making them feel like n essential part of the business.

We also wanted to communicate the three regions of parcel delivery that the company serves within the approach. These regions included taking a parcel to a Hermes parcel drop shop, transitioning into the famous blue box and reaching the customers home. This journey was envisioned through interior design and space planning.

We also wanted to deliver the WOW factor. Our interior designers achieved this with large AV screens and custom joinery. The reception and boardroom areas provide a stunning tech hub feel for the Hermes head office space. The meeting spaces are equipped with the best technology to enable a hybrid working experience with colleagues based outside the office. The working areas are bright and spacious, with plenty of touchdown spaces included.

Hermes wanted a restaurant space within the building with a professional catering kitchen. This was so that great food could be served to colleagues based on site.
