Leading UK IoT solution provider, Invisible Systems, initially approached Officeinsight for a ‘test fit’ layout to assess whether the number of rooms, areas and people could be accommodated in the new Lowry Mill office space, just outside Manchester City Centre. Having confirmed the requirements, the project evolved to deliver a refreshed brand direction while enhancing the bespoke features of the industrial fourth floor space.
The building had an industrial feel, with exposed high ceilings, which presented certain acoustic challenges. The client requested that the design be sympathetic to the mill environment, while using the brand identity to add interest. A cohesive design was delivered, with brand elements and colours carried throughout the space, incorporated in space dividers, acoustic panels and task seating. A shocking pink meeting booth against a multicoloured panel, takes pride of place, providing a perfect area for those impromptu meetings.
