Where can I get my ideas for my office design?

Office design inspiration can be found easily online – be it on social media, digital magazines, and of course, office fit-out company websites.

Sometimes, clients come to us with an idea of what they want to be included in the design because they need to fix an issue that has become apparent in their current office. Whether this is because they have outgrown their current office space, are looking to move spaces, or maybe just need to give the space an update.

However, not everyone has identified the issue and will need the specialist office design team at Officeinsight, to help define how to get the most out of your space. Our Define stages takes a holistic approach to defining the brief, offering in most cases a complimentary package of analysis to uncover the big picture and what the office space can do for your company in terms of talent attraction, retention and enhancing the user experience.

Others like to look at other completed office spaces to help them establish an idea of what they want to include in their own office. Check out our case studies here.

Image sharing platforms such as Instagram and Pinterest are useful for finding office design inspiration however quite often, they can be quite non-specific in comparison to going on an office fit-out website, and reviewing recent case studies, such as ours here. The benefit of using the actual websites of office fit-out companies rather than social media is that the information can be more trusted.

Take our cost calculator, for example, this has been curated by our specialist team and can help give you an idea of what you want to include in your office, such as collaboration spaces, tea stations, and more, whereas anything posted on social media platforms, could easily be untrue, despite social media perhaps being more accessible.

Our Head of Design, Samantha Dickinson, shares her advice on where you can get ideas for your office design and fit-out:
