Insight / News

Office Insight enjoy a taste of Italy with celebratory cookery course.

Following a strong first half of the year and some very positive feedback from our client, Ian Dunn at DB Cargo, we decided to reward the staff with something that brings us together – our love of food.

With our Italian designer, Claudio, what better experience than an Italian masterclass, including the art of making pasta, filled tortellini and tagliatelle, mixed with some BBQ tuition – how to cook prawns, fillet steak and even cheese on the BBQ!

There were some interesting team names chosen including Chris’s Angels and Men united and we hope the chance to collaborate outside of the office setting helped the team bond further.

We left feeling full, inspired to do some cooking of our own and with a delicious mix of flavours!

We understand the importance of celebrating wins within the team, as not only does it have a good effect on culture but it shows the team they mean more to us than just for their work.

The importance of looking after your employees is highlighted, as it then inspires them within the workplace setting and increases their loyalty to you. This may include aspects such as making sure their workplace is up to standard for them, making sure they have enough natural light, and that the working areas are enough for them to excel.

Many people are increasingly finding the benefits of having collaboration spaces and also focus zones in their workplaces. This allows them to choose what kind of working area they need depending on the type of work they are completing.
