What is human-centred design?
Essentially, human-centred design is about focusing office design around the needs and wants of the people who use the space. It is a concept that is based on not only productivity but also in equal measure, well-being and the comfort of employees. Designing an environment where employees feel energised, inspired and happy requires a creative approach to make sure that the needs of your people are sufficiently met while not compromising on the overall look of the space. With this approach, it will never be a one-size fits all, because we’re humans – all different in some way, yet the same.
