Officeinsight was appointed to deliver a full office refurbishment for px Group, supporting the relocation of two separate offices into a single, consolidated headquarters in Stockton-on-Tees. Spanning three floors and 30,000 square feet, the project focused on creating a cohesive, branded workplace that supported a wide range of working styles while guiding staff through the change of workplace.
Refurbishment Brief
The brief centred around consolidation, functionality, and people-first design. Key objectives included:
- Relocating and merging two existing offices into one unified building
- Embedding px Group’s branding, colours, and identity throughout the workspace
- Accommodating a broad mix of space types, including collaboration areas, meeting rooms, private offices, booths and pods, flexible training rooms, and an executive dining area
- Delivering strong stakeholder and change management to support staff during relocation, ensuring employees felt engaged, informed, and heard throughout the process

Our Approach
Collaboration and communication were central to the refurbishment project from day one. Officeinsight worked closely with px Group to ensure the design responded to both operational needs and employee experience.
- Stakeholder workshops were held to align design aspirations, functional requirements, and future workplace needs
- Furniture showroom visits enabled informed decision-making and helped stakeholders visualise the final environment
- Design development was carefully balanced against budget to deliver maximum value without compromising quality
- A 3D design walkthrough tool was used to support change management, allowing management teams to clearly understand and communicate the proposed workspace before construction began
Weekly progress meetings were held throughout the design phase and continued into construction, ensuring a transparent and well-managed delivery process.
Refurbishment Outcome
The result is a vibrant, modern workplace that successfully brings together px Group’s teams under one roof. The finished space meets the requirements set out in the original brief, balancing collaboration, privacy, flexibility, and brand identity across all three floors.
By turning the 3D vision into reality through a smooth and well-managed delivery process, Officeinsight ensured the construction programme was completed efficiently and with minimal disruption. The close working relationship with px Group throughout the office fit-out supported a positive relocation experience and delivered an office space that is both functional and future-ready.
